After he’s approached by Xan’s birth mother saying she wants her daughter back, Lip refuses because he knows she just wants money for her daughter. He eventually decides to sell the motorcycle he rebuilt to bribe Xan’s mother to make him her legal guardian. Unfortunately, Xan sees her mother before Lip gets her to sign the papers.
