I hope you’re ready because I’m back with more trivia. With back-to-school in full swing, I thought I would do an after-school cartoon one. I personally think the cartoons of the 80s and 90s were the best. That isn’t to say that current cartoons aren’t great, there are some gems, but they don’t hit me the same as ones from childhood (or my kids for some). Maybe that’s just age. Though cartoons today aren’t the same as back then, it is sometimes for the better. Today’s article cartoons are specifically from the 80s and 90s after-school cartoons. Some of the cartoons ran on Saturday as well, but I chose them for their after-school slot. Let’s get to the questions.

Ok, that was the questions part. Let’s look at the answers and see how you did.
1 He is Huey, Louie, and Dewey Duck’s grand-uncle through their mother, Della Duck, and Launchpad’s employer.
2 His everyday identity is Drake Mallard, and outside of being a crime fighter, he is a dad to his adopted daughter, Gosalyn Mallard. Who knew that crime fighting paid so well?
3 Prince Adam has a twin sister, Adora, who was taken by the evil Hordak when they were infants. Adora becomes She-Ra, so she is technically He-Man’s sister.
4 The Sorceress, on behalf of Castle Greyskull, gave both of them their power and gifted them each with a sword that calls their power to them when needed and releases it when done.
5 The Ninja Turtles are Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael. They are all named for Master Splinter’s favorite Renaissance artists.

10 There was always a lesson teaching something the kids didn’t know. They would always close with, “And knowing is half the battle!”

14 Elmyra would love and squeeze and hug any animal she came across, whether it was detrimental to her health or not. However, I can’t remember a time that she didn’t win. There is bound to be at least once, but I just remember her manhandling them into submission.
15 Tommy’s, and his older sister Angelica’s, last name is Pickles, which always tickled me pink.
16 No, It only lasted 26 episodes, but I remember the reruns. If it was good enough for reruns, why not new episodes?
17 Queen Marlena is from Earth. Her ship crash landed on Eternia, where she met and fell in love with King Randor, Prince Adam’s dad.
18 Pinky and the Brain were kept at Acme Labs. Brain is brilliant, and they often break out of the lab only to return there after each failed mission. The mission? Try to take over the world!
19 They were in 4th grade.
20 Ms. Frizzle taught 4th grade. I would have loved her as a teacher, and I already loved science, but I would have loved it more with her teaching.
