We open to Lois making breakfast for the kids. Chris and Meg skip out on it. Stewie has his first full day of preschool today, and this should be entertaining. Stewie is a hard-shelled marshmallow. You can hurt his feelings, but he will get revenge with an evil grin. I think Stewie is my favorite character. Lois is trying to figure out what to do with herself.
As Lois is watching Netflix when Brian comes barreling down the stairs barking at Joe with a vengeance. In his excited rush, he slipped and fell down the stair and broke some bones since his arm doesn’t bend that way. Lois texts Bonnie to see what to do. Take Brian to the hospital! What are you doing, Lois?!
Why does Peter have a helicopter that looks like him? He is giving away some stuff from the garage. How does a helicopter fit in a garage? He lets Cleveland take his old ping pong table. When at the vet, Brian receives pain pills for his arm. Later, Cleveland place gets to be a hot spot because of the ping pong table. Back at the house, the pain pills kick in for Brian, and Lois wants some of his relaxation from the drugs and takes half a pill, then goes on a ride.
Lois comes down from the high and is jonesing to do it again. She decides to take it with wine, but Brian takes the last pill. Lois tries to fix it to get more pills. Lois goes to the school to try to score, but it is a bust. Cleveland still has the hotspot. Peter decides to take back “his” ping pong table. On the other hand, Lois is losing her mind and almost drowns Stewie. Brian saves Stewie and locks Lois in his crate. Why does no one find this weird?
Does Lois get clean? As a recovering addict (I have twenty-four years clean), this episode was funny because it hit home for me. I didn’t care about what was going on with Peter.
