Welcome back to another week of awesome furry artwork.

This week we’ve got the return of Deltarune, and even Undertale fanart with more spooky art as we get closer to Halloween.

Let’s check things out, starting with the #7 pick:

7. Noelle

It looks like the Holidays are coming a little early with this nice #7 pick. Noelle was a pleasant addition to the crew in Deltarune‘s Chapter 2, with lots of great character development. And Kivwolf’s take on the Holiday deer does a great job of showing off her innocent, magical side.

6.Poisoned Bones

Continuing the stream of Toby Fox-related fan art is this deliciously venomous Undertale fanart that has a….Papyrus and Muffet ship. Well, fanart from one of the fan-made AU settings, Swapfell Red. These designs look pretty cool, with Maiuo coming up with their own Swapfell Red outfit for Muffet.

I suppose this would also qualify it for spooky art. C’mon, we’ve got an alluring spider mistress and a cool-looking skeleton boyfriend. And spider webs. That’s textbook Halloween.

5. Swordfighter Beastman

Our #5 pick manages to get us away from the worlds of SOUL and SAVES with this cool-looking wolf drawn by Kazashino. What I really like about this one is the armor design – lots of great detail and some imaginative choices. For example, check out the boots and how they have claws on them. I don’t see that too often with anthro characters and it’s admittedly a really nice touch.

4. Dream

Up next is this dark wintery piece by Pakwan. The thing that got my attention with this one is the use of color. Nearly everything looks like it’s in monochrome, except for the flower, and the bloody tears of the dragon. It gives the piece a very visceral feeling and sets that “dark wintery” tone.

Don’t get too lost in the snow, however. We’ve got the honorable mentions to check out:

Metal Angel
What’cha looking for? Art by Carnival
A universe in her hands. Art by Faract
💛 P O P S T A R 💛
Quite the show! Art by Rainbow Foxy Art

Quite the rainbow of pictures, right? Now, let’s check out the top three, starting with:

3. Token of Creation

Kicking off the top three is this amazing piece featuring this tree-like dragon. There’s a lot of good things going on with this picture, such as the before-mentioned dragon. I really like the design of it, and its large size compared to the human girl gives it that “ancient forest spirit” sense of majesty and wonder. It’s a grand piece and a great way to kick off the top three.

2. You’ll Always Be Okay

Coming in at #2 is this adorable piece of Helluva Boss fan art featuring Stolas and his beloved daughter Octavia. It’s a nice call back to not just the song Stolas sang in episode 2, but also the promise he made to Octavia. That, and the heartwarming development the two went through in that same episode. And it’s brought to life with so many cool elements ranging from starry constellations to breathtaking space scenery.

And now, our #1 pick for this week is:

1. Spooky Time Coming

Kyander takes the #1 spot this week with their delightfully ghoulish female bat. This feels like Halloween captured in one image: we’ve got a bat, a black cat, spectral waves, and more. Personally, I like the two jack-o-lanterns. One looks angry and the other looks a little pleased with itself to be under the bat. The bat herself has a nice, mischievous look on her face, perfect for Halloween. It’s a shriek of a piece and the #1 pick for this week – congratulations and well-done, Kyander!

And that brings another spooky week of October furry art to a close. I think we’re doing pretty good so far with the themed art. But there’s still two weeks left – so let’s see how spooky it will get!
