Alfred wants Thomas to arrange a save passage out of the country but starts to have second thoughts when he hears that the Queen has been abducted. If he rescues the Queen, she’ll pardon him and he can stop running away.
The police arrive at Lord Harwood’s house to arrest him, but they only find his wife and one of his staff members who have hanged themselves. The general then captures both Lord Harwood, Frances Gaunt and the remaining Raven Society members present in the army headquarters.

Alfred keeps calling the Queen madam, but that changes after he spends some quality time with her in her bedroom. When Alfred arrives home later that day, his mother is over the moon that he is back but his father suspects that he has something to do with the defeat of Harwood, as a Raven Society member himself something he is not happy about.
Martha visits Thomas in his hotel room. She confesses that she likes him too, something he mentioned earlier that day. They share a kiss and begin to make out. But before things can get heated, shots are fired from outside the hotel room and Thomas is shot. He stops breathing, but Martha successfully revises him.
That same evening, Alfred is called by the Queen. She misses him as she is attending a celebratory dinner held by the family Alfred’s father is serving as a butler. What both of them don’t know is that Alfred’s father hides a bomb in the cake for dessert. When Alfred and his mother are watching tv, both of them get a bad feeling. It is there that his mother tells Alfred that his father is a Raven Society member and belongs to the most secret chapter. Alfred immediately gets the feeling that his father might be up to something and goes to the mansion.
Alfred enters the house through the basement. He is caught by a guard but saved by one of his father’s colleagues who recognizes him. Meanwhile, the cake is brought into the dining room and Alfred’s father retrieves the detonator. At the same time, Alfred enters to room trying to stop him, but he is too late. His father is ready to detonate the bomb. Alfred has no other option but to shoot his father, but because the detonator falls to the ground it still triggers the bomb.
