In its second season, Supergirl has made a plethora of changes. From moving to The CW Network, to having one of the most moving and powerful character developments to date, Supergirl has solidified its place in the history books. The female-led show is making another leap that few shows have managed to perfect: A musical Episode. Supergirl is taking the next step though, and mixing this musical episode with a crossover alongside The Flash! Guest-Starring Darren Criss (Glee) as the Music Meister, the crossover will have Barry Allen and Kara Danvers trying to escape the Big Baddie’s made up world through the power of music!

With big Broadway hard-hitters like Jeremy Jordan (Winn Schott, Supergirl) and Jesse L. Martn (Joe West, The Flash) along with Melissa Benoist (Kara Danvers) and Grant Gustin (Barry Allen) being Glee Alumni, this crossover is bound to be amazing. On top of this already musically-powerful characters, side characters include:

  • Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramone, The Flash)
  • Candice Patton (Iris West, The Flash)
  • Chris Wood (Mon-El, Supergirl)
  • Victor Garber (Professor Stein, The Flash/Legends Of Tomorrow)
  • John Barrowman (Malcolm Merlyn, Arrow/Legends Of Tomorrow)

Unfortunately, not all of the fan favorites of these shows will be involved in the crossover, but hopefully their absence will prove more fruitful to later episodes. The musical crossover begins March 20th with a lead-in scene on Supergirl, before fully continuing through The Flash on March 21st, so be sure to keep a weather eye on your t.v. screens! Thanks for reading!
