Most of us can agree that Amazon as a company isn’t anything to write home about. On the flip side, the production media arm of the worldwide behemoth has increased its output year-over-year and is giving quality entertainment.

Unlike its streaming competitor Netflix, Prime Video seems to have taken the tack of quality over quantity. The series it holds are consistently critically acclaimed (i.e. The Boys, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and the films falling under the production umbrella are indie darlings (i.e. Small Axe series, One Night in Miami). We’re here to take a look at some of the under-the-radar series Prime Video has and who knows, you may find your next binge-worthy show.

Before a person dies, they can choose to “upload,” a way of having permanent, non-corporeal consciousness in an afterlife of their own choosing. When Nathan Brown is in a car accident, he finds himself in Lakeview by Horizen. With eternity to figure himself out, he finds a friend and confidant in his angel, Nora. Sweet, poignant, and seriously hilarious, Upload is one of those special series that will have great word-of-mouth (1 season).
