Over the years The Simpsons have built up an impressive cast of characters. All of their secondary and even tertiary folk are unique in some way and have in one form or another made us laugh out loud. Curiously, some have not been given any formal name and instead go by a description of their character.
Springfield’s most competent and perhaps most infamous jurist simply goes by the name of Blue Haired Lawyer. His name has never been revealed but it has been hinted at a few times. In season 14’s Bart Over he’s seen working at a firm called Luvum & Burnham: Family Law. Its not known whether his name is one of those two but it most likely is.

Some of his famous clientele includes Freddy Quimby, Fat Tony and most notably Mr. Burns. He’s very good at his job which is perhaps why this trio always hire him but usually has a hard time going up against Bart and Lisa.
Apparently, animator Jim Reardon designed the character to resemble character actor Charles Lane, and former show runners Al Jean and Mike Reiss have said that his voice was inspired by McCarthy-era lawyer Roy Cohn. He certainly has the look and sound of a lawyer so they definitely got him right.
