We are almost there people, just this and two episodes left. In typical Fear the Walking Dead fashion we had an hours show and not a lot of content to cover. So let’s get to it, Strand takes Tracy hostage thinking that she is the key to stop Troy. However his plan isn’t the best plan according to the rest of the group, June and others come to confront Strand, get the girl so they can give her back to Troy, and they will trade Strand for a truce to not attack PADRE. In theory it is a very solid plan, on the boat on the way Strand has other plans as he wants to save his skin. He takes the blindfold off of Tracy and tells her to remember the light house so she can tell Troy where PADRE is. In the confusion Tracy jumps overboard and Strand dismantles power from the boat and jumps overboard.
Strand finds Tracy on shore, saving her from a walker, he tells her that he knows how to keep her safe, they need to find Madison and she can keep her safe. Tracy’s leverage is ‘knowing’ where Alicia is, so Madison says that she will keep Tracy safe but first they have to find Alicia. The trio go to Luciana’s checkpoint to try to get a working vehicle. Luciana, Daniel and others come to stop her because she is not welcome there anymore after putting everyone and the checkpoints in danger. Daniel speaks with Luciana in Spanish and tells her that he will volunteer to go so he can keep an eye on them.
During the drive with Daniel, Tracy, Strand and Madison, it has become clear that Strand still can’t be trusted, so they leave him behind to the walkers. He is saved by some people in the MRAP, it turns out to be a group of females who were once helped by Alicia and collectively decided that if they kept her ideals alive it would be best for them and others so they go out to try to help people.
Daniel, Madison and Tracy make it to this walking path with a ton of frozen walkers. Tracy insists Alicia was in this group of walkers. It was another trick though as Tracy used this situation to escape. She runs off in the opposite direction of Madison, Daniel, and by this point, Strand and the friends with the MRAP. They have to retreat as the walkers are coming for them, but in typical Madison sucks fashion, she steals the MRAP to leave everyone to run off on her own.
