The first of the cluster release was the episode titled “Special Delivery” -season 2 episode 13. Our heroes (Radicles, Enid and KO) start off working an ordinary day at Gar’s Hero Supply & Bodega when who other then their strong, loud and towering boss Mr. Gar shows up with a new assignment. Mr. Gar reveals that Enid and Radicles-or Rad for short- will be going on a road trip to make a delivery to Neo Riot City. Much to the delight of the two teen heroes, they say their goodbyes and proceed to leave the bodega to begin their voyage in Rad’s van. On the other hand, young K.O. is left to watch the bodega alone (which he was more than happy to do) and later we see a short clip of him being his typical, adorable self.

Through out their time together, Rad begins to question the friendship they share when Enid continues to unintentionally offend Rad with the banter fans often see between them.

Eventually, this leads Rad to ignore Enid’s warning about taking a dangerous path opposed to the safe, efficient one. Due to this poor choice in judgment, both the package and Rad are taken captive by Mad Sam, a returning character (hero or villain TBD in my opinion given his past actions but current status), which lead to an epic high speed chase by Enid.

Thankfully, Enid manages to rescue Rad but with feelings still hurt he refuses to get back inside the van. After a heart felt talk followed by an apology, the two make up and finally make it to their destination. In a surprise twist ending, Mr. Gar was the recipient of the package and only sent them on the journey as a test. Within the box they had been caring for through out the episode contained a photo album of Enid and Rad’s various moments together in the years they’ve known each other.

This episode was a tasteful way to precede the P.O.I.N.T. Prep arc that follows for it showed the roots Enid had spent her life developing along with a glimpse of her inner thoughts and feelings. Previously, there have been multiple episodes where we see Enid and K.O. developing a strong friendship but this is one of the scarce installments with just her and Rad together. We often have K.O. at the center in each episode developing relationships with all the characters but this is one of the few instances where he is not present and fans watch others interact with out his positive, innocent presence/ intervention. The next few episodes will take Enid away from her typical environment as she leaves to pursue her dreams of becoming a hero at the famous, elite P.O.I.N.T. Prep and seeing how deep her bonds are with these two will definitely aid in the story. I hope to discuss the great potential the remaining four episodes left that had audiences on the edge of their seats and what this could mean for the future.

Personally, I believe OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes will prove to be an interesting and thought provoking series as it continues to develop. Now in its second season, audiences have been given several cliff hangers and hints to future plot twists that has the fandom guessing.

How did this episode effect your opinions of these two young heroes and whats your opinion of the show so far?
