The cast of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow grows even larger. While the panel revealed that Neal McDonough has been promoted to the regular cast for season three, which means more Damien Darhk in the show’s future. Wentworth Miller and Arthur Darvill will also return in recurring roles as Captain Cold and Rip Hunter. Most exciting, however, will be the new addition of Tala Ashe as a computer hacker from the future named Zari Adriana Tomaz.

The cast of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow answered a few questions from fans during a livestream Q&A session. Caity Lotz (Sara Lance / White Canary), Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer / Atom), Nick Zano (Nate Heywood / Steel), Franz Drameh (Jefferson Jackson / Firestorm), Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Amaya Jiwe / Vixen), and newcomer Tala Ashe (Zari Adrianna Tomaz) each took a question in a live-stream video along with show screenwriters Phil Klemmer and Marc Guggenheim.

Routh discussed the changes made to his Atom costume for his own comfort last season, as well expressing satisfaction with the growing friendship between Atom and Steel. Lotz discussed White Canary’s leadership role during season two and how to transfers to season three. When asked about potential characters he hoped to see during the show, Drameh remarked that he would love to see how Jax interacted with Ronnie Raymond (played by Robbie Amell). Richardson-Sellers commented that she would like to see Vixen channel a “supernatural” creature, like a dragon, in the future. Finally, when asked about her preparations to play the show’s new addition, Ashe revealed little, leaving fans in suspense to the exact way Zani will fit change the show’s dynamic.

The trailer for season three remains equally cryptic, but it does contain some big reveals. The season will pick up immediately in a 2017 Los Angeles where dinosaurs and other anachronisms run wild. Billy Zane portrays P.T. Barnum, one of these anachronisms, Dr. Martin Stein dresses up like a clown, and a stern lady in a suit berates White Canary for her informal style. However, the most interesting new feature has to be the new villain, Kuala, one of Vixen’s nemeses from the comics.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season three premieres on the CW on October 10 at 9:00 PM EST.
