Netflix’s adaptation of “A Series of Unfortunate Events” has found it’s Lemony Snicket! The ‘author’/almost-character has been given a role in the upcoming show, and here’s the man they’ve chosen for the job:

Well, that’s half-right, anyway. Patrick Warburton–the voice behind “Kronk”–is going to portray Lemony Snicket.

As well as his Disney voice role of Kronk, Warburton has lended his voice to many other animated films, as well as acted in numerous roles, including Seinfeld.
Filming of this Netflix production is expected to begin this spring. In terms of casting, so far, this series has has announced its Count Olaf, who will be played by Neil Patrick Harris, and Violet and Klaus Baudelaire, portrayed by Malina Weissman and Louis Hynes, respectively.
