WonderCon is back in full swing! This sister convention of ComicCon will take place at the Anaheim Convention center from Friday, March 24th, through Sunday, March 26th. There are 900+ exhibitors in a 412,000-square-foot Exhibit Hall filled with comics, original art, toys, and merchandise from many popular artists, publishers, and retailers.
Although it may be a part of Comic-Con, WonderCon is entirely its own thing with key events such as the 18th annual Masquerade on-stage costume competition. Those who wish to participate simply have to download the Masquerade Information & Rules pamphlet and entry form and then send it to masq@comic-con.org.
Returning this year are also connection events where aspiring creators can get advice from professionals on a first come, first serve basis, such as in comics and gaming. The Comic Creator Connection, however, has been canceled, while the Gaming Creator Connection shall be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
On the first day, the Comic- Con Museum shall commence and will go over the long history of the event. This has been happening since the 1970s with Troy Carlson, Bill Farmer, Ron McFee, Rita Vandergaw, and Eddie Ibrahim.
Remember during 2020 when YouTube channel Retro Rerun had its marathon of Clone High, thus resurging its popularity? On Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., HBO Max’s Clone High Exclusive Sneak Peek Teaser will be held to review the upcoming reboot with the executive producers and some of the voice actors.
Another anticipated media release is the World Premiere of the Justice League x RWBY crossover, which is adapted from the Comic series of the same name. There will be two press room events prior to the occasion.
Also, an extra message is that late-night events, such as games and anime will be taking place at the Hilton Anaheim Hotel.
For any who wish to explore the Exhibit Hall, the map can be found below and on the website. They have listed all exhibitors, so keep an eye out! Perhaps one of your favorite creators shall be there!

Hope to see you at WonderCon 2023! What panels will you be attending? Let us know!
