If you missed my last article on Family Guy, you could find it here.

Holy crap! Another season? Yep, Family Guy is back for season 21. I can’t believe it. So let’s see what they have in store for us.

We open to Peter sitting by the fire in a tuxedo. He is getting us ready for the Oscars. Peter has one of those spinning wheels you find at fairs to tell you what prize you won. The first film he will talk about is The Silence Of The Lamb.

Lois is Agent Starling. Joe is her boss, and he can walk. I was surprised to see it. When he was behind his desk, I figured he was in his chair. Brian is the warden, and Stewie is Hannibal. Meg is the victim of Buffalo Bill, played by Chris. Lois is either the smartest or dumbest FBI agent. The whole replay is just so over dramatic it is ridiculous. Though I must say, Stewie does a wonderful job as Hannibal.

Next is American Beauty. Peter plays Lester, and Lois is Carolyn. Stewie and Brian play Jim and Jim. Meg plays Jane while Joe and Chris play Colonel Fitts and Ricky. So far, no Cleveland or Quagmire. Watching Stewie and Brian kiss was different. Just wow. I found Quagmire. He is cheating with Lois, which is funny given in “real life” (for the Griffins anyway). Was American Beauty really this messy?

For the last offering, they cover Forrest Gump. This is gonna be chaos. Peter is playing Forrest. Lois, of course, plays Jenny. According to this Forrest, life is like a box of Good & Plenty. Cleveland plays Bubba, and this time instead of shrimp, it is squid. Joe plays Lt. Dan. Stewie plays his son. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

Two Princes is a featured song in this episode. I am not sure if I liked this episode. I think it was actually kind of boring. As a season opener, I think it was a bit of a disappointment. Have you watched it yet? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Until next time, have fun storming the castle!
