The second and last season of The World Beyond is finally upon us, it starts up one day after monument day in Season one. As a quick reminder this series takes place ten years in the future, which is around 3-4 years(my assumption) from where the flagship show currently is. The CRM is leading a large group of walkers, which they refer to as a column, towards Omaha, which at this point in time has a large wall perimeter and 100,000 people. They set some charges to blow up parts of the wall, and lead the column into the city. One of the soldiers tells the leader that the pathway to the campus colony is clear and he anticipates the column will overtake the campus within 72 hours.
Iris is dreaming about taking off a walker’s face, which is pretty creepy. Elizabeth, the general or whatever her rank is, takes Huck and Hope on a side mission. She tells the pair that Omaha and the Campus colonies are gone because of a column of walkers. She is on a rooftop of an overrun town that Elizabeth knows from her past, she is unsure if Hope is really all in, so she tells her she has a chance to just leave if she wants, but if not she can call them. She also tells Hope which is the one way out of town via a bridge but she doesn’t recommend it.
Felix’s birthday tells Felix and Iris about he was able to escape the CRM after the murder attempt. He said he asked to many questions and they were suspicious of him and were to eager to let him and another go on a mission with them when it was to kill them. His partner was gunned down but he was on the run for awhile until this new group found him. Hope and Felix want to rush into the nearby CRM facility to check it out but Felix tells them they have to play the long game, they have to make sure everyone is safe and have to come up with ideas on how to get people out and then where they will go safely after everyone is out. Later that night, Iris doesn’t listen, shockingly right? She goes to scope out where the CRM is and she ends up killing one of the CRM soldiers!
Back in the random town, Hope ends up in a school, she fights a walker and hits her head, she gets a concussion but keeps trying to fight her way out. She ends up in some apartment perhaps? She hallucinates seeing a popular girl who had posters up in the school. She finally realizes it is to difficult for her by herself so she calls the CRM. This test for Hope was also a test for Huck, to see if she would have went after Hope, and she passed. Huck learns that based on her intel the CRM picked up Silas, but he hasn’t given up any information. After all this testing they make it to Hope’s new home and she is actually able to see her dad!
