I am an avid player of World of Warcraft (WoW). I have an Alliance Druid, Warlock and Mage. I also have a Horde Priest. My husband and son play also. I love playing healers but they are so hard to stay alive with. I really need to learn DPS. I can’t play my Warlock or Mage very well at all.
Because we play WoW, we have learned about add-ons and all the help they can be. At one time I was a point and click healer but after finding out how the Healium add-on works, I am a much more effective healer now. There are so many add-ons for so many things. You can change the appearance of your screen or how your bags work. They have damage add-ons, healing ones, and even how to quest through the game.
There are three places to get add-ons. The Twitch App, Zygor, and Minion. I am going to tell you a bit about them and where to find them. Let’s get to it.
Twitch App- The Twitch app is different from Twitch because it has add-ons aka mods and it is a desktop app as opposed to a website. If you have a twitch account you can log into the app. To find the add-ons go to the mods section. They have so many add-ons. This is where I get all my downloads but one. Add-ons are here are updated regularly. You can get the Twitch app at twitch.tv/downloads.
Zygor Guides- It is classified as an add-on but it is a guide. It works for WoW Classic and there is even a Zygor Guide for Elder Scrolls Online. It has guides for leveling, questing, achievements, professions, and event world events. At least the WoW one does. This is the one add-on I don’t get from the Twitch App and is probably my favorite add-on. The guides are updated very frequently. You can find this add-on at zygorguides.com.
Minion- I hate Minion. Their add-ons are rarely updated and most no longer work. There are a few add-ons that get a kind of regular update and are exclusive to Minion because they are packs. These packs are such an intricate user interface because it involves more customization than other sites allow. You can find Minion at wowinterface.com.
