How To Nerdify Your Thanksgiving Dinner

Now that Halloween is past, which I am personally sad about, we move on to the next holiday. Thanksgiving! If you are anything like my family, you have traditional fare that HAS to be served at your turkey dinner. However, my family has been wanting to mix it up a bit.

The first book is in fact from The Game Of Thrones. It is called A Feast Of Ice and Fire: The Official Game Of Thrones Companion Cookbook.

Next is Hearthstone: Innkeeper’s Tavern Cookbook. It is written by the same people as The Game Of Thrones cookbook. If you play Blizzard games such as World Of Warcraft or Diablo, then you know what Hearthstone is. For those of you who don’t it is a Blizzard online card game with similarities to Magic the Gathering but incorporates Blizzard characters.

Here is a book that will help you eat your way through Morrowind, Skyrim and Tamriel. This could certainly liven up any dinner party. Elder Scrolls: The Official Cookbook is definitely worth taking a peek at.

For those of us who just have to have a magical meal never fear. I have a book that pays tribute to Merlin, Harry Potter, D&D, Lord Of The Rings and more. It is The Wizard’s Cookbook. This is one I covet!

Of course I am saving arguably the best for last. Supernatural: The Official Cookbook: Burgers, Pies and Other Bites From The Road. So maybe not your standard Thanksgiving fare but you could use it for the pies or possibly appetizers.

So whether you are looking for something modern, spacey or fantastical these should have you covered. What is great about them beside the obvious, these would make a great gift for someone in your life too. My family loves cookbooks and will probably be adding some of these to our personal library too. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Til next week…
