While at Designer Con last month I found myself at the DC booth a few times, looking at upcoming figures and I knew to keep an eye out as new things were coming.
I stopped at my local Hot Topic and saw the Glitter exclusive Cat Woman was there, I looked at the back and saw that Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn was also apart of this new wave. I love the colors green and pink and was excited to pickup the Poison Ivy. I came back a couple days later and did find the last one in store. Here is how that looks.
The Hot Topic piece is a glitter variant. If you take a look at some of the pictures you can see how amazing this particular piece looks with the detail. I had no idea and didn’t see anything listed that this is also a numbered piece. Hot Topic was out of 700. I like the piece, I’m personally not crazy about the glitter portion but it was nice. Seeing this made me want to go out and acquire another one, which led me to Game Stop.
Game Stop has the holiday variant. Between the two that I personally own I prefer this one over the glitter variant. I think the slight color differences really makes this figure. I was very shocked to learn that this numbered out of 500 instead of 700!

These pieces retail around $40 a piece. At Hot Topic they had a buy one get one 50% off sale so I also picked up a Harley Quinn for $20, I figure maybe I can use that to trade for something I want later on. The Game Stop figure was $40, I have yet to locate the common black variant in stock at any store. Books A Million also has special chrome variants, those retail for $40 and I am not sure what the number is out of those but I need to grab one soon. That can be found online still Poison Ivy Chrome Figure
