The convention formally known as the Salt Lake Comic Con, now FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention, is returning to Salt Lake City, Utah this weekend for four days of epic nerdy fun. The event will start today, Thursday September 6th, and go until Sunday the 8th! The hours vary on the day and which admission ticket you purchase. Tickets can still be purchased online or at the Salt Palace Convention where the event will be held.
As always there will be a wide variety of vendors, artists, and panels at the convention to check out. There are quite a few special events this year to attend. There is the FanX18 Bash with DJ Rufio for everyone who wants to get out there and dance. As well as a massive, Evermore FanX Lore Party preview night. If you’re not into partying there is an LGBTQ+ and Allies Cosplay Brunch and Super Sonic Speed Dating as well! If you are looking to meet some of your favorite celebrities there will be no shortage. Here are some of the major celebrities in attendance this weekend will be:

Photo and Autograph ops are available for pre-purchase and purchase at the event. We always suggest planning out your photo and autograph first, before doing anything else. That way you don’t miss out on your opportunity! Schedules often change last minute and lines could be capped for safety. A lot of these professional vendors will give NO refunds once the tickets are purchased unless the celebrity cancels. So plan accordingly.
The Game of Nerds will be in attendance to FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention this year! For the first time ever, our very own Deadpool cosplayer will be out for photo ops and shenanigans!
