Episode synopsis:
“Nyssa al Ghul returns to Star City to warn Thea that a group of renegade League of Assassins members are planning to attack her. This group, led by Athena, is intent on finding a mysterious box that Malcolm left behind and will stop at nothing to get it. Nyssa helps Oliver come to a life-changing realization.” – The CW
Malcolm’s not dead, in the flashback that opens the episode, bet I got you with that. He is still dead but the League of Assassins isn’t. The League is now all about Malcolm and not about Ra’s because of that Nyssa and the League have beef. It’s Thea’s going away party in the Arrow Cave, I called it she’s leaving the show. Her and Roy are running off today. Thank Grodd, we’ve got another episode with Roy. Diggle wants back in the hood. With the team fractured Ollie doesn’t think it’s a good idea.
I’m so done with the teams being split. OG Team Arrow are partying, while Curtis and Dinah are searching for corrupt cops on the force.
Roy and Thea are making their great escape when the League ambushes them and they are saved by Nyssa. The Thanatos Guild is loyalist group of the League, followers of Malcolm Merlyn. They are on a quest for a map for great treasure. The leader, Athena beliefs Thea to have it. Nyssa wants to team up so they can find the map and the treasure before they do.
This week’s B plot is Dinah dealing with dirty cops at work.
Athena needs Thea because Malcolm made it so Thea was the only one who could access it. Ollie, Speedy, Nyssa, Arsenal and Spartan are Indiana Jonesing it, meaning they are facing traps on their way to the map. Felicity made the bad joke, not me. The map is inside an ancient League cipher, it looks like a giant Rubik’s cube. Too bad they don’t have time to play with the Rubik’s cube due to the sudden arrival of the Thanatos Guild.
Like you’d expect a fight breaks out but don’t worry everyone made it out. Nyssa plans to flee with the box. Everyone’s cool with that but Thea, I guess she wants to help now.

The team cracked the cube, mostly Felicity. Roy’s all moody for some reason and the map appears to be blank. Felicity will figure out the map though. Roy’s worried the map’s going to take Thea from him, she tells him he has nothing to worry about.
More B plot stuff. Vertigo is getting a revival in Star City, possibly but Captain Hill looks to be clean.
The Thanatos Guild is held up at the Star City gas plant. Looks like they are going to leverage the city for the map. The team makes there move. A bomb has been activated, stakes are high.

Shockingly, a fight broke out. Thea’s decided to burn the map, but once she gets blood on it the map starts reveal its self. That’s why they wanted Thea. Oh yeah, and don’t worry about that bomb Roy defused it. The map contains the locations of three Lazarus pits. Now I’m interested.
Yay, Curtis got a date with a cute cop. Ten bucks says he is dirty. And Hill is dirty, Vertigo has been in the city and Diaz is pushing it but Hill has been covering it up.
Thea and Roy are running off again but this time it’s on the hunt for those Lazarus pits. I’d watch that show.
Oh snap, Ollie and Nyssa’s marriage has officially been annulled.
Bye, bye Thea, it’s been real. I’m going to miss Roy more though.
