The Supernatural Family is celebrating today, and not only because it’s Jensen Ackles’s 40th birthday.
After a break for the Winter Olympics, Team Free Will 2.0 is BACK and, if we’re lucky, reunited. The last episode before the break had fans pumped because Gabriel made a surprise appearance. Tonight, Mary and Jack find an ally in the Alternate Universe in none other than Bobby Singer. Jim Beaver reprising his role is no surprise (he’s been in at least one episode a season since Bobby died), but seeing Sam and Dean’s foster-father is always a cause for celebration in the fandom. Oh yeah, and one more thing: Zachariah is BACK and in a new vessel (Chad Rook).
