Looks like Supernatural is continuing to be a family affair!!!
Danneel Ackles has been cast in a recurring role on CW’s Supernatural. Ackles will join her husband Jensen and co-star Jared Padalecki for the first time in episode 13: “Devil’s Bargain.”

She will play “Sister Jo” a faith healer whose work draws the attention of Lucifer, whether to kill her, or use her is anyone’s bet.
The cast and crew of Supernatural has always been known as more of a family than working environment. Jared Padalecki met his now wife, Genevieve when she was cast as Ruby in 2008, and the cast regularly collaborates with each other and their spouses on several business and charitable endeavors. Danneel and Genevieve are both board members on Misha Collins’ charity Random Acts, and after Hurricane Harvey hit Houston in August, Danneel, Jensen, Jared, and Misha teamed up to raise over $400,000 for disaster relief (Stronger Than The Storms) through a crowdfunding campaign.
