Illfonic and Gunmedia, have been busy supporting Friday The 13th: The Game post release. Not only are they hard at work motion capturing new kills for Jason to use, with one of them presumably being a stop sign for roadside kills; but they also released a mysteriously image onto their official facebook page that features seven black dots followed by a blue dot.

Many are speculating that the blue dot may represent a new Jason being made for the game, the Jason from Part 5. While not the real Jason, the Jason from Part 5 is actually a copycat killer named Roy who went about killing a bunch of kids and was stopped by Tommy Jarvis.

A theory that I have is that maybe this is a special counselor, similar to how Tommy Jarvis can be called for in the game, and this is none other then Tina Shepard from Part 7 and we can finally use her psychic abilities to fight Jason! Hopefully more information from the Friday team is made known in the coming days and we’re not left scratching our heads wondering.

But I want to hear from you, what are your thoughts on this teaser? Feel free to discuss in the comments below.

Also in other, not so mysterious Friday news, a physical retail release of the game will be out for Xbox One and PS4 on October 13, 2017 for $39.99. New additions for this include a free Bloody Jason skin for all playable Jasons and include a free pack of clothing for each of the camp counselors. Pre-orders are live via Amazon. For any first time players, be sure to read our review to get our thoughts and to check out our survival guide that’s filled with tips and tricks on how to survive a night at Camp Crystal Lake.

And before you ask, yes that retail version comes out on a Friday the 13th.

Finally, the renovations are complete and the camp is officially open.
