Doctor Who Season 9 Ep 5
A wonderful and fun shift from the darker Sci-fi theme episodes we been having this season. At first this episode did seems a bit random with its fantasy theme set pieces. I was so used to this season being a darker and more classic but seeing The doctor tackle the Viking god was so much fun. It wasn’t only fun but quite funny with almost everyone be able to show their humor side.
despite this being a very fun episode we ended up not once but twice with heavy emotional moments. The first being the answer why The 12th Doctor has the face he does. As a reminder of who he is and that no one is left behind. And the other is the death and rebirth of Maisie Williams’s character .Overall I was surprise on the episode we got but wasn’t surprise on the quality of writing we were given.
