This book was a random Amazon pick, but boy am I glad I got this one. I could not put it down! It was brilliantly written and I’m so stoked to see the movie. Mark Watney is the first man to ever be left on Mars. A bad storm leaves the rest of the crew thinking he’s dead, so they abort the mission. This is Mike’s story of living on Mars while attempting to fix every problem that arises. Meanwhile, NASA realizes he is alive, so it’s become a race against the clock to save Watney. Watney grows potatoes and manages to drive a MAV to pick up the PathFinder. This book was a complete page-turner. I highly recommend it!
