When I first heard about The Fault in Our Stars, I didn’t think I could bring myself to read such a depressing book. But a month before the movie came out, I had a darling friend convince me to give it a shot. Thank you darling friend! It has now become one of my favorite books in my collections! Hazel Grace is a terminal cancer patient trying to live as normal of a life as she can. She meets Augustus Waters at a local support group and her life is changed forever. She tries to avoid him in fear that she will destroy him. When in reality, he knows time is short. This is the amazing love story of two teenagers trying to make the best out of the cards life dealt them. It will leave you sobbing at times, but it is John Green’s best book ever!
