Better Call Saul ep 9

A strong episode with a shocker that has left me curious to see where we go from here. Jimmy is working up a strong case of his career to only face the same rejection he did several years ago from Mamil. We see Jimmy get his answer on why he has been kept for being a lawyer at his brother’s firm. The reveal couldn’t have been built better and the payoff was so bittersweet. I hated seeing his own brother being the one keeping him at bay. However it was written so well I couldnt keep my eyes off the screen. It also gives depth to Howard Hamil. He wasn’t just bulling Jimmy but taking orders from the big brother. I feel that this may be the push that slowly turns Jimmy into Saul. Its almost a classic tale of a hard worker who gave in after years trying so hard.
