Moonlighter 2: Endless Vault – September 2nd 

Live the double life again in Moonlighter 2: Endless Vault. Growing from the top-down 2D style of Moonlighter, Endless Vault takes us into an isometric adventure where the townsfolk of Rynoka have been sent into another dimension. You’ve been stripped of your wealth and you still have to keep the shop running. So into the dungeons you go. Releasing on PC, PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2

The Blood of the Dawnwalker – September 2nd

Your next open-world adventure is here. Blood of the Dawnwalker drops you into a dark fantasy 14th-century Europe. Explore the world as a vampire at night and a human by day. Uncover the story shaped by your actions. Inspired by pen and paper role-playing games you have a lot of influence over the world and the story has no linear narrative. Blood of the Dawnwalker was also featured of TGON’s Most Anticipated RPGs. Releasing on PC, PS5 and Xbox.

Orbitals – September 3rd 

In the wake of two-player games like ‘It Takes Two’ and ‘Split Fiction’, game developers are creating amazing coop adventure experiences. Orbitals is looking to be the next great entry. In a retro anime-style world play as Maki and Omura, two space explorers who must stop a space station from being destroyed. Releasing on Nintendo Switch 2 exclusively. 

Screenbound – September 10th

Control the world around you with the strange device you found in your mom’s garage. Switch between the 2D retro game and the 3D world that are magically linked. Fight enemies and solve puzzles to solve the mystery of this interconnected world. It brings a new feel to the platformer genre. Releasing on PS5, Xbox and PC

Marvel’s Wolverine – September 15th 

Insomniac Games’ next entry into the Marvel universe. Following the huge success of the Spiderman games, next up is a different type of action adventure. RuneScape: Dragonwilds – September 15th

A spin-off from legendary MMORPG RuneScape, we return to the world of Gielinor in the continent of Ashenfall. Dragonwilds is a coop survival game for 1-4 players. Dragonwilds made onto TGON’s list of Best Survival Games coming out in 2026. RuneScape: Dragonwilds has been in early access since April 2026 but the full release on PS5, Xbox and PC with plans to later come to Nintendo Switch 2. 

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave – September 17th 

A spiritual successor to 2017’s Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Fortune’s Weave is looking to be everything you wanted more of after finishing Three Houses. Perhaps learning from the mistakes of Fire Emblem: Engage, Fortune’s Weave dives back into the multiple stories and tactical role-playing mechanics everyone loves the Fire Emblem franchise for. Releasing exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2. 

Dune: Awakening – September 22nd 

Another survival game and this time in the epic world of Dune by Frank Herbert. The opening of the game shares that we are in an alternate timeline where Paul Atreides is never born. Customise your character and assume the role of an undercover agent who must find Fremen and wake the sleeper. Releasing on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.  

Garfield: Escape from Monday – September 24th 

The lazy orange cat returns in this 3D platformer. Play as Garfield as he falls into a lasagne-based nightmare after eating spinach. Explore the nightmare worlds of Garfield, face enemies and encounter a whole lot of lasagne. Releasing on PS5, Xbox, Switch and PC. 

Control Resonant – September 24th 

A sequel to 2019’s Control by Remedy Entertainment. Unlike Control, Resonant is an action role-playing game. Released from captivity, Dylan Faden (the player) assists the FBC in capturing an extradimensional entity. Moving away from the third-person shooter of the original, Remedy is investing in the world of Control with this entry. Releasing PS5, Xbox, PC and MacOS

Farming Camp – September 24th 

Evertree Farming Camp is THE place to be if you plan on being a farmer, each year they search for the next best farmer who raises the agricultural bar. Play as Alessandra who wants to better her future. Innerfire Studios have created a great farming sim, interactive story with great dialogue and an addictive gameplay loop. Releasing on PC and PS5 with later plans to release on Xbox and Switch. 

Silent Hill Townfall – September 24th 

September is a big month for survival games. This time around we’re surviving in the world of Silent Hill, Townfall is a stand alone spinoff. You play as Simon who wakes up in a fictional Scottish town, a place he has no connection to. Releasing on PS5 and PC. 

Minecraft Dungeons 2 – September 29th 

Mojang Studios has partnered with Double Eleven to bring a sequel to Minecraft Dungeons (2020). Much like the first game, Dungeons II is a hack-and-slash style dungeon crawler. 1-4 players can explore dungeons, obtain loot and continue the story from the first game, check out our review of the first Minecraft Dungeons. Releasing on Nintendo Switch Consoles, PS5, Xbox and Windows. 

Nowhere – September 30th 

Nowhere is a Nordic mythology inspired narrative horror game, telling the tale of what happened to the Norse Gods after the events of Ragnarok and the end of their golden era of worship. Developers MidnightForge are blending the detective style of gameplay and Nordic horror aesthetics. Releasing on Steam (PC).

Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered – September 30th 

A Remake of Dynasty Warriors 3 and Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends. Play as more than 40 different characters with their expanded storylines. Take on strategic battles against 1000 opponents. If you’re a fan of Fire Emblem Warriors or Hyrule Warriors, this is the original that established the Warriors games. Releasing on PS5, Nintendo Switch Consoles, Xbox, PC.
