Cast and crew of Adult Swim’s hit show “Rick and Morty” graced the stage at San Diego Comic Con yet again in 2026. A panel featuring a sneak peek at season 10 – which has yet to be finished – gathered nearly every major cast member. The panel also included a look at the newest episode of season 9. And an exclusive show-themed ride rocked fans’ universes.
The panel featured producers and writers Dan Harmon and Scott Marder, as well as actors Ian Cardoni (Rick), Harry Belden (Morty), Spencer Grammer (Summer), and Chris Parnell (Jerry). The only major cast member missing was Sarah Chalke (Beth), which was slightly disappointing.
During the panel, Belden discussed his role of Morty being jealous of Evil Morty earlier in season 9, and how that changed his view on Morty’s character.
“Uh, so yeah, I-I think it’s I think it adds a really nice like layer to Morty’s character that it’s like coming– grappling – and coming to terms with the fact that you’re…that you’re jealous of a version of yourself that you could be if you wanted to.”
Meanwhile, Marder went into his reaction towards episodes that gained tremendously positive reactions from fans.
“”I mean, I’ll just say we-we felt like we were sitting on something really special with this season. So, it was really validating just for people to agree, uh, because it just felt like every episode we’re like, “Wow.” Like, I couldn’t believe that one after the other just felt like it was just these bangers.”
Continuing his thought, he stated that “this finale this weekend might be like top three, top five, one of the best episodes we’ve ever done.”
What fasincated me about the panel was Dan Harmon’s elaboration on why Rick tried to remove his memories early in the season so he could take a vacation as a different person. Harmon recalls taking up bowling as a hobby, and coming to enjoy the escape he felt with the sport when he could just be a bowler and “take a break from being…Dan Harmon.” He stated that the experience “sort of inspired Rick getting a vacation for himself.”
Equally as exciting, SDCC featured the show outdoors once more, this time with a ride called the Rick and Morty Rambler. The ride was enclosed in a Rick-shaped dome, his mouth opened wide as though screaming for convention guests to take a spin – literally. Floating cars wheeled con-goers around in circles as music blasted and neon images of show characters flashed on the ceiling. 10/10 do have FOMO.

Overall, the “Rick and Morty” fan experience at San Diego Comic Con continued to impress this year. Although missing the live read that was featured during last year’s show, in addition to the absence of Sarah Chalke, the convention wowed visitors from around the country with its exclusive panel and ride that surely left them Rickety-Rickety-Wrecked.
Even cast members got to enjoy the whirlwind ride during their stay, and it looks like they were equally as impressed!
