The Last of Us Season 2 is fast approaching and many fans are excited. New actors have joined the cast such as Catherine O’Hara, Kaitlyn Dever, and Jeffrey Wright. The trailers show a season packed with more drama and promises an emotional story for viewers.
I have not played the game, so I can’t compare it to the show. However, the show will include some changes. These will include more fleshed out character backstories and events that are out of order. I think these changes will help the flow of the story. The new season includes a five-year time jump. Expect to see the main characters in a new light. Ellie is older now and Joel still seems to struggle with his past. His relationship with Ellie has also changed.
The Last of Us will bring in Abby this season, played by Kaitlyn Dever. She is a key character to watch. Abby is an enemy to Joel and Ellie and we’ll see Joel and Ellie from a new angle. The story goes beyond just trying to live. It looks at things from a personal view. Abby’s role will likely change how we see the main characters.
