Invincible Season 2 just got a trailer during its big San Diego Comic-Con 2023 panel.
It’s been two years now since Invincible‘s first season finished airing. While it didn’t take long for a Season 2 to be greenlit, updates on its progress were few and far between.
Fans have been dying to get an update on Mark’s life following the shocking chain of events that led his father, Omni-Man, betrayed his family, slaughtered thousands, and left Earth.
Thankfully, fans don’t have to wait any longer.
Season 2’s Trailer is Here
During a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Invincible was given a new trailer for its upcoming second season,
Right off the bat, the trailer teases Mark graduating from high school, and that, despite that, his mind is pretty occupied worrying about what he’ll become. Understandably, the hero seems convinced he might one day become like his father, Omni-Man.
Even his mom seems to still be having a hard time with Omni-Man’s betrayal.
It doesn’t look like Mark will be getting along with Cecil either, from the sounds of it. Even worse, it looks like the old man might have sent The Immortal after Invincible.
While Mark’s father may have left Earth at the end of the first season, the final moments of the teaser seem to confirm that he’ll be making a return. But what does he have in store for the planet?
Additionally, there’s a treasure trove of new faces joining the series for Season 2, including Sterling K. Brown, Tatiana Maslany, Daveed Diggs, Chloe Bennet, and more.
The full trailer can be viewed below.
On top of all the new information about Invincible‘s second season, Kirkman revealed that fans can now watch a new stand-alone special featuring Atom Eve that tells her origin story. The hour long episode is already available to watch on Prime Video.
The first four episodes of Season 2 will debut on November 3, with the rest of the season dropping at some point in 2024.
