Are you accustomed to Japanese culture or looking to learn more? Then read along to learn about this FREE community event that is fun for family and friends of all ages!

As one of the largest Japenese Festivals in Orange County, Taste of Japan will be held in Anaheim, California, at STC Gardenwalk, an outdoor entertainment and shopping center located east of the Disney Resort, on June 16 and June 17, 2023. There will be authentic Japanese food, Entertainment, fun, family-friendly activities, and more. ADMISSION IS FREE, AND ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND! It is an event for everyone, including families, alcohol enthusiasts, food influencers, and anyone interested in Japanese culture!

With over fifty of the best Japanese vendors in Southern California, Taste of Japan will have traditional Japanese delicacies such as Ramen, Takoyaki, Yakitori, and street food variations bound to whet your appetite! There will be all–day entertainment, including Japanese drummers, martial artists, musicians, dancers, kimono fashion shows, and cosplay contests! Among the musicians performing includes JPOP singer Stephanie Yanez, who performed brilliantly at Anime Days earlier this year, and singer and songwriter DisMiss

There will also be a wide selection of artists and retail sellers, including Chunky Tomato, who sells pins perfect for Pride Month, Konbini Bites, and Laced Tea. And for the first time, Taste of Japan will be hosting Yokocho (“Alleyway”) Fest, where you can eat and drink authentic Japanese food and spirits to your heart’s content (so long as you’re 21+). Explore Japan’s drinking culture and learn about Japan’s delicious selections of Beer, Sake, and Shochu. Yokocho packages will be available for preorder until June 14th and cannot be purchased on-site.
