I enjoy being married to my spouse, so we have avoided playing Overcooked since its launch in 2016. However, finding couch coop games has been a struggle lately and takes considerable effort. Finding something we both enjoy takes damn near hours of research and trial and error. The last couch coop game I mentioned was Nobody Saves the World, but today I am excited to share the title Good Job!

The Story

Good Job! is an action puzzle game that supports couch coop. In this indie title, players take on the role of the CEO’s clumsy child. It is your job to climb the corporate ladder one level at a time. Tasks can be as simple as setting up a projector or as thrilling as cleaning up the sticky goo in the lab. You are on the clock, so completing these tasks quickly is vital! Who cares if you knock down a few walls or break a few priceless items? Also, the dress code here is relaxed, and players can find over 100 outfits hidden throughout the levels. Overall, Good Job! is a great team-building exercise that is bound to get a laugh out of anyone.

Thoughts

When I saw the praises for this title on Reddit, I knew we were in for a treat. Everything from the graphics to the physics mechanics of this game is on point. Having the ability to launch a printer through a wall and shattering vases is satisfying. The coop mode has player two as a valuable tool in the game rather than being a shadow. Plus, the outfits you can collect for your character are nothing short of adorable. Honestly, this is one of the most fun titles we have played together. Overall, this is the one for you if you’re looking for a fun game to play with others!

Odds and Ends

If you want to get in on the action, it is available on the Nintendo Switch. It can be played as a single-player or two-player game. Additionally, it can be played on TV, Tabletop, or Handheld mode.
