Hello Walking Dead Fans! I surely apologize for the delay. I was at Comic-Con and still getting myself set. It is a sad and exciting time to be a fan of the Walking Dead Universe. The flagship is coming to an end, but the world is still going strong.
Fear The Walking Dead: Strangely, I was not able to find any new information on Fear the Walking Dead at the convention.
Isles of the Walking Dead: Not a whole lot of information on this one. The actors of Maggie and Negan put out a short video apologizing for not being at the convention because they are filming the new series. They said it will be out in 2023, to watch the flagship show to see how they survive and a reminder to keep your enemies close.

Tales of the Dead: This is the show that is going to air next, starting on August 14th. This is six stand-alone episodes following different characters. We know that one is an episode from the past, Alpha, while the panel made it seem like at least one episode is current. We also know that one of the episodes involves someone who works next door to the CDC, so we can assume we will learn things from very early on. This series also will have Terry Crews and Olivia Munn, among other recognizable faces.
The Walking Dead: The final trailer for the final season. It went fast and furious, so some of the notable pieces include.
Multiple spots where bodies were littered on the ground.
A few spots where lots of walkers are built up. One was hovering under someone trying to climb a fence. A different shot with walkers on the move and a spot at the end of the trailer with a lot of walkers outside of a fence.
Hornsby goes nuts and is the obvious big baddie for this part of the season.
Negan is being a badass and doing Negan things. Roughing people up, saving the day, we see he uses his whisper-walker face wearing past. He also drives his vehicle head-on into another vehicle.
Lots of fighting action, including one where Maggie is fighting side by side with Commonwealth soldiers.
The part at the end of the trailer is the biggest, most amazing, and most interesting tidbit. Where Aaron is talking to someone and saying he heard stories of walkers that could climb walls and open doors but always thought they were stories. Next, we see footage of a door knob opening and a walker hand on top of a wall like it’s going to climb up. This is great as it seems to go in hand with the footage we saw at the end of World Beyond. This is a nice setup for future TV shows, spinoffs, and movies, and I can’t wait to see how this all plays out.
Lastly, we finally got some news on Michonne and Rick. The Rick movies are officially over with; however, we get six episodes that will air on AMC + instead. These will air sometime in 2023, and we will get a chance to see how that story finishes up. Andrew Lincoln and Danai greeted the Hall H crowd, and Andrew told everyone he couldn’t wait to put on these cowboy boots again. I, for one, can’t wait to see how this plays out.
