I hope you are enjoying this series so far. I can’t get enough of these cookbooks! I love the thought put into each and every one of them. As a writer myself, I create characters, build worlds, and invite you in, but I never thought of food as part of the character building. Then one day, I was reading a scene in which Anita was musing about her weight gain since becoming Jean-Claude’s human servant. He missed the taste of food, and Anita gave him that back. From there, I found that thinking about what kinds of meals Dean from Supernatural would eat is fun. Making it come to life is better. Let me show you what I found.

The Unofficial Simpsons Cookbook ~ I must say that if they ever make a Simpsons restaurant, I hope the menu items have names like this! In this book, you can find stuff like Forbidden Doughnuts, Nachos Flanders-Style, and Caramel Cods. What the hell is Caramel Cods?

Doctor Who: The Official Cookbook: 40 Wibbley-Wobbley Timey-Wimey Recipes ~ This cookbook is filled with amazing Doctor Who inspired dishes like Ood Rolls and Weeping Angel Food Cake. There is even a Fish Fingers and Custard recipe to make and share too!

The Bob’s Burgers Burger Book ~ There are seventy-five Burgers of the Day in this book. The burgers are ones we have heard on the show, like the Eggers Can’t Be Cheesers Burger, Texas Chainsaw Massa-Curd Burger, and Blondes Have More Fun-Gus Burger burgers. Illustrated in the same colorful art as the show, it is almost as fun to look at as it is to cook from.

They are, of course, the Air, Fire, Water, and Earth Nations, but there is also The Jasmine Dragon Tea Shop. The recipes sound delicious. Appa Blend Bubble Tea, Fire Gummies, and Uncle Iroh’s Jook are just a few you will find. In addition, it has the artwork of the series, beautiful photos of the food, and stuff about the different nations from Aung.

Supernatural: The Official Cookbook: Burgers, Pies, and Other Bites From the Road ~ There are plenty of on-set photos in this book which I love. The Cus’s Best Banana Pancakes and the A Pig And A Poke look heavenly. The Green Mark Of Cain looks like something my daughter and sister-in-law would love. The Elvis Burger sounds fun.
