Welcome back to another week of amazing furry fandom artwork! We’ve got some excellent picks lined up, with a decent mix of new furry artists to check out!

Speaking of new artists, let’s check out the #7 pick:

7. Orange Bong

Kicking off this list is a rather adorable piece by Triangle Theurgy. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I really like the style of this piece. I also really like the use of purples and blues, and how the piece is almost only in those colors. It really makes the green spots, artist signature, and the orange bong stick out just that much more.

6. Vibrant Duo

Artistic duo LinsGrimm are back at it again with this really cool piece with a lot of cool things going on with it. First off, the character design from the outset looks pretty wicked. Then, there’s a nice mix of blue and magenta which is enhanced with some awesome lighting effects. Now that’s cool!

5. Jacket of Glow

The cool glow theme continues with this sweet commission by Karma. This is such a calm and serene piece that’s really helped by the glow of that out-of-this-world jacket. I don’t think I’ve quite seen anything like that yet. Plus, I like the character’s swirling fur markings all throughout her lower body and on her face. Adds to the “otherworldly serene” impression I’m getting from it.

4. Blaziken Dancer

Up next is this dazzling picture of a purple Blaziken dancer, as well as continuing the purple and blues theme. I swear I didn’t plan this, it just happened. Anyway, what I also really like about this picture are the gold trims and the gold coins seen throughout. Goes very well with the blues-and-purples, and adds a nice bit of shininess to the piece.

But don’t get too distracted by the gold, we have the honorable mentions to check out:

Some good-looking honorable mentions right? Now, onto the top three, starting with:

3. Too Bizarre

Kicking off the top three is this beautiful piece by Demi. There’s a lot of great things going on in this piece, mainly in the nice use of color, and the small details such as the bouquet of flowers and the constellations on the snake. But what I think really gives this piece some great flair are some of the effects and filters on the piece, which gives it a real, well, bizarre sense of reality.

2. Magic Kitty

Who doesn’t like something that’s adorable? Coming in at the #2 spot is this duo of positively adorable cats done by Silverfox. While both kittens are quote the cute deal, there are little things that help give some personality and variation to each one. Obviously, they have different colored hats, but also different magical trinkets and such. An enchanting piece indeed!

And this week’s #1 piece is:

1. Diao Chan

Talk about a cosmic piece! The mix of blue and purple seems to have come full circle with this outright beautiful feline. There’s so much about this piece that I love – from her flowing hair to the literal stars in her hair, the soft flow of magenta on her fur, and more. Perhaps one of the unique elements is the ear-to-tusk gold chain – I don’t think I’ve ever really seen something like that. It’s a cool piece and a great way to implement parts of an anthro character.

Congratulations and well done Marie Merkh, your piece is the #1 pick for this week.

And that brings another list of furry art to a close, as well as the month of July. BuT, what do you think of this list? Agree? Disagre? Let me know down in the comments, and I’ll see you all next week!
