Family Guy’s executive producers Rich Appel and Alec Sulkin are joined by Mila Kunis, Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, and Arif Zahir are at the panel. I remember seeing Rich, Seth, Alex, and Mila last year. Family Guy celebrates 20 years this year! This year’s panel will be hosted by Ryan Budds. Ryan Budds hosts trivia night and tonight is Trivia Night with Family Guy. To kick things off Ryan asks who thinks they are going to win. Alex says “Not me”, but Rich at the same time nominates Mila. Alex says Arif.
The first category is General Knowledge. Each of them has a multiple-choice feature on their phone that Ryan can see who clicks the right answers. They get twenty seconds to answer A, B, C, or D. It has questions like Where was Peter born and What was the basis for Peter and the Giant Chicken’s first fight? Peter was born in Mexico and the fight was about an expired coupon. There were excuses, laughter, and wrong answers throughout the round. Seth wins the first round.
The next round is Guest Stars. The setup is the same as before. Twenty seconds to answer A, B, C, or D. A couple of the questions are, Who guest-starred as Thelma Griffin (Peter’s mother) and Who guest-starred as Carol Pewterschmidt (Lois’s sister)? The answers are Phylis Diller and Julie Hagerty respectively. Seth won round two also with a perfect score.
Round three is Famous Quotes. Same gameplay style as before. They take a minute to let Rich tell us some of the guest stars for season 20. We will see Sam Elliot will be returning as Wild Wild West, Mayor West’s cousin. Patton Oswald and Peter Makin will also be seen. Seth calls for the game to proceed. I think he wants to hurry up and win for bragging rights. Seth may be able to keep his perfect score with knowledge AND dumb luck. On the question Stewie, “Brian, I think we can get ____ ____ to stop tweeting again, but we all have to work together.” Seth didn’t know the answer was John Mayer and guessed, ultimately guessing right. Two of the questions are Brian, “Hey barkeep, whose leg do you have to hump to get a ____ ____ around here?” and Meg, “Did I freaking stutter? I said MORE ____!” Dry martini and Skittles were the answers respectively. Mila’s favorite flavor of Skittles is the gray one from pride month. Seth sweeps this round too!
Seth is the winner and now has bragging rights! I really liked this format. It was a lot of fun to watch and play along with. You have to watch this panel.
