The beginning of 2021 has already brought news of a fresh FIFA title in EA Sports’ collection of games. We bring you the latest information about when we can expect a FIFA 22 release.
FIFA 21, released in October 2020, was another enormous hit for EA Sports. Video game lovers received it with open arms and were not disappointed with what they got.
The game’s most impressive features include modifications to Pro Clubs, Ultimate Team, and Kick-Off modes. Since game consoles of the latest generation came out at the end of 2020, FIFA 21 creators had to race the deadline, and they won.
However, with the turn of the year, FIFA fans have already gotten eager for a new title from the franchise. If you’re looking for the latest news about EA Sports’ next release date, keep scrolling.
FIFA 22 Prices?
As seen on the official site, FIFA 22 is predicted to be available to pre-order from June 17, 2021. Official prices are yet to be confirmed but you can get a 10% discount as a loyal FIFA user by pre ordering the Ultimate Edition in FIFA 22. It won’t be cheap, that’s for sure. If you have a few $/€/£ to spend until then, why not try a 5 euro deposit casino? Can a deposit of $€5 generate big wins? Absolutely!
When Can We Expect FIFA 22 to Come Out?
Although EA Sports has not announced a definite release date yet, we can make an educated guess about when the new title will probably come out. Based on the previous years’ game release dates, we can reasonably expect FIFA 22 to be released anywhere between September 24 and October 8, 2021.
Taking this time frame into account, it is highly likely that, by that time, there will be many other games optimized for next-gen consoles. In other words, the new releases will automatically be compatible with next-gen hardware, so there will be no need for a transition period.
Conversely, FIFA 21 did need a short upgrade period, but its enhanced features have done an excellent job thus far. This paved the way for FIFA 22 to soar even higher.
Which Players Could be on the FIFA 22 Cover?
In 2020, we saw the young Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe on the cover of FIFA 21. Therefore, it is reasonable to wonder which athlete might be the next EA Sports ambassador.
If the company were to choose based on accomplishments, as it has done for the previous years, Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool would be a logical choice. The 22-year old already bears the title of the best right-back in the world. Besides, EA Sports have been in collaboration with Liverpool for a long time, which is another deciding factor.
What Can We Expect From FIFA 22?
Right now, you’re probably wondering what exciting elements will constitute FIFA 22. Considering that 2022 will be a World Cup year, it is highly likely that the game will feature a World Cup game mode just like the one FIFA 18 had.
This would be the first online World Cup mode in the franchise, allowing you to play against gamers all around the world in the hope of winning the most sought-for prize in the realm of soccer.
Other likely features are new ICON releases. We could have an entirely revamped ICON collection as many of the favorites are ending their careers and could be brought back in the game. Therefore, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Andres Iniesta are likely to retire soon, we could see them added to the roster.
