We see Bet and Peggy taking a stroll along the Thames where Bet reveals to her sister that she saw the guys who killed Esme, but didn’t do anything to stop them. Peggy thinks she makes it up and that it is her that killed Esme. When Bet and Peggy are back in London after Esme’s funeral, Bet spots Lord Harwood on the streets. He is still held hostage by some other guy with a chain and a collar. To free him, Bet stab the guy with her brooch in his eye and convinces her sister to take him with them. When they are back home, Lord Harwood gets a shave and haircut and almost looks human again, except for that he still misses a large part of his nose. Bet tries to tell him his real name, but he is not having it so they settle on calling him Ginger instead.

Not only Peggy and Bet visit Esme’s funeral from a distance, but also Thomas and Martha come to pay their respects. Martha feels guilty because she convinced Alfred to come with her to the countryside and leave Esme alone. After the funeral, Alfred is laying in bed when he starts to imagine that a dead army friend, Spanish, is talking to him. Alfred tells that he knows who killed Esme and where that guy is. Spanish tells him to cut the guys throat, but Alfred can’t because it is himself. He blames himself because he was with Martha, instead of with Esme.

The leader of the No Name League and the Raven Society meet in a restaurant where Dave is in the kitchen preparing to kill Frances Gaunt. But he is caught by the head chef. He threatens the kitchen staff with his gun and locks them up in the fridge. Dressed as a waiter he walks into the restaurant and kills Frances Gaunt’s henchmen. Before he can shoot her, she shoots him first but then immediately helps him by keeping his wound closed. Then Alfred shows up with a forage cap on but removes it as soon as Gaunt and Dave recognize him. Alfred shoots the leader of the No Name League, leaves Gaunt behind and takes the wounded Dave out of there. He brings Dave to the pub where the pub owner’s daughter calls the doctor before she and Alfred take a moment for themselves.

In the final scenes, we see that the inspector tells the news of the dead No Name League leader to the Prime Minister and the Queen. They believe that Frances Gaunt is responsible for it and are very grateful. It is also revealed that John Ripper is sleeping with the wife of the leader (who could now be the new leader) of the No Name League.
