Santa Clara is going to get a little strange this weekend. The Bay Area Toy and Comic Convention (ToyXpo) will be hosted at the Santa Clara Convention Center and will have three of the Stranger Things Cast members in attendance. Noah Schnapp (Will Beyers), Cara Buono (Karen Wheeler), and Mark Steger (Demogorgon) are making there way to Santa Clara to meet with fans. On Saturday, there will be a special event panel with Demogorgon creators Rick Prince and Rashaad Santiago. If you purchase tickets to this event, you get access to the panel and a photo with a real Demogorgon that stands at 6 Foot 4. Later that evening will be the Stranger Things group panel with the attending actors. There is even a special VIP experience Sunday with Noah if you have an extra $200 laying around. This includes a special Q&A session, professional photo, and an autograph.
Not only will there be the Stranger Things actors, but Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox from CHiPs and Gil Gerard from Buck Rodgers in attendance. There will be some WWE stars making a stop to the convention as well. The voice actors have some heavy hitters coming out. He-Man voice actors Alan Oppenheimer (Skeletor) and Melendy Britt (She-Ra) will be there Saturday for photo ops, autographs, and a joint panel. Sean Schemmel of Dragon Ball Z will be there to give fans a taste of Goku as well as special VIP event Friday. It’s very similar to the event they are offering for Noah. Voice Gamer Crispin Freeman who voices Winston in Overwatch is also another amazing person on a long list of celebrities attending the event.

ToyXpo is also a qualifying event for the World Series of Cosplay in Las Vegas. So if you want to show off your cosplay this is the place to do it. The Garbage Pail Kids artists are another huge selling point of ToyXpo’s weekend with the original artist Tom Bunk being there all weekend. On Saturday, there will be a free viewing of the documentary, 30 Years of Garbage: The Garbage Pail Kids. Alongside the Garbage Pail Kids, artists will be the Wacky Packages artists as well. They actually have their own section at the convention.
If you are a Hot Wheel collector, ToyXpo will be the place to be this weekend. There is a complete race track, vending machines, tons of vendors, and custom Hot Wheel being sold. Fans will get a sneak peek at some special models at panels and well as being able to participate in a Hot Wheels Bingo for an extra fee of $60. The winner of Bingo could possibly win an exclusive 510 Datsun 510 1of 25! If you are looking for some collectibles or something new, the site will have a wide variety of vendors to look through.
