Get your rosé ready and put your sassy pants on if you’re a fan of Phoebe Robinson and Jessica Williams, aka the 2 Dope Queens, because HBO has just announced that in 2019 the ladies will have FOUR brand new episodes of their 2 Dope Queens comedy specials.

Previous guests included the likes of John Stewart, Sarah Jessica Parker (all hail SJP), Titus Burgess, and Uzo Abuda who helped to educate the audience on subjects like black girl hair, Blerds (black nerds, duh), various levels of being woke, and on being funny smart, and sexy AF always.

Besides the very recent announcement of the 2019 HBO specials, Jessica Williams will be appearing in J.K. Rowling’s newest film, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald as Professor Eulalie “Lally” Hicks this November and Phoebe Robinson’s will release her second (soon to be best-seller) book, Everything’s Trash, But It’s Okay on October 16.

Guys, I’m excited about new specials from the Queens and excited to cover each and every hilarious moment. Be sure to check back for updates on the specials as well as Jessica and Phoebe in the upcoming year. I’ll be reviewing their films and books while we await more gossip on the HBO specials! Yaaassss, queen!
