Spielberg is back, baby! I guess he really never went anywhere but Ready Player One is a decent flick. It’s no Jurassic Park or Jaws but it’s a solid 140 minutes. Say what you want about the book but it’s really not bad, it’s way too focused on blatant references to pop culture but it’s fun story. Spielberg does the easter eggs way better. He changed up the story and it was probably for the better, some of the story elements wouldn’t transfer well from text to screen. Visually this movie is a marvel and it should be seen just for that.
