Today is a unprecedented day. It’s Tuesday like you may have guessed and there’s new Blu-rays but the shocker is, I’m picking the regular Blu-ray over the steelbook. Oh yeah, the pick this week is A Quiet Place.

A Quiet Place is a horror masterpiece directed by John Krasinski, yes that’s Jim from the Office. The film stars Krasinki and his real life wife Emily Blunt, sorry Pam. A Quiet Place is easily my favorite horror movie and possibly my straight up favorite movie of the year, it’s certainly a contender. The movie is such a creative and unique take on the genre, people take making noise for granted when you take that away it’s pretty scary. A Quiet Place is an elegant yet simple movie, it’s thrilling, scary, and, tense. This is movie that everyone should see, horror fan or not, you’ll find something to enjoy about it, at it’s heart it’s just about a family trying to survive .
