With the recent announcement of a Daria reboot, we couldn’t help but reminisce about some of our favorite MTV series! There are so many to choose from like The Real World or The Newlyweds. So we compiled a list of complete series you can purchase on Amazon, RIGHT NOW! Everything from Beavis and Butt-head to Jersey Shore, it’s all here for your enjoyment!

Daria

Did you know that Daria originally was a re-occurring character on Beavis and Butt-head. They called her “Diaherria”. She then proceeded to have her own series and 2 movies over the span of 5 years by King of the Hill creator, Mike Judge. The new series is tentatively titled “Daria & Jodie” and has no release date set yet.

Beavis and Butt-head

Nothing screams “MTV Classic” more than Beavis and Butt-head. They were the pioneer for such shows like South Park. The last eight season even went on to do a movie. In 2011, Mike Judge did revive the series and do another 24 episodes. The premiere was dubbed a hit but the numbers went down drastically the weeks after.

 

Laguna Beach

Before the Kardashians took over there was a little reality series called Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. The series followed regular high schools students around showcasing their lives in Southern California. The series did so well that main star Lauren Conrad went on to have her own series The Hills.

 

Teen Wolf

MTV hit a home run when they decided to reboot the classic 1985 film Teen Wolf into a series. It ended up airing for six seasons and being a fan favorite show. There have been rumors flying ever since the series ended that it might get picked up again with a new cast but nothing has been confirmed.

Jackass

There was a sweet time before YouTube when a group of men purposely hurt themselves for our entertainment. It lasted for three season and seven movies. Knoxville, WeeMan, Steve-O, and Bam have given us tears of laughter for countless hours. There were even times we would scream at the tv asking “WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?”

Jersey Shore

Whether you were a fan of the Jersey Shore or not, everyone has heard about this wild show. It lasted 6 seasons and MTV even went so far to have a reunion series just last year with the original cast.
