Jaws will always be the best aquatic horror movie ever. Two options when it comes to aquatic horror in the post-Jaws era:
1)Try to live up to Jaws and fail. (47 Meters Down)
2) Go freaking nuts with b-movie madness (Piranha 3D)
Glad this movie chose #2.

Plot synopsis and trailer below:

“A massive creature attacks a deep-sea submersible, leaving it disabled and trapping the crew at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. With time running out, rescue diver Jonas Taylor must save the crew and the ocean itself from an unimaginable threat — a 75-foot-long prehistoric shark known as the Megalodon.”

There’s a part of me that hopes this is secretly a sequel to Rampage and The Rock shows up at the end to help kill the shark. But there’s only so much muscule and monsters a movie can handle.
