The true story of Molly Bloom, a beautiful, young, Olympic-class skier who ran the world’s most exclusive high-stakes poker game for a decade before being arrested in the middle of the night by 17 FBI agents wielding automatic weapons. Her players included Hollywood royalty, sports stars, business titans and finally, unbeknown to her, the Russian mob. Her only ally was her criminal defense lawyer Charlie Jaffey, who learned there was much more to Molly than the tabloids led people to believe. – STX Films
Molly’s Game is one of the craziest true stories that actually seems believable. As someone who often says real life is boring, I loved this movie. Molly’s Game is wildly entertaining, it’s funny, exciting and will keep you on the edge of your seat. This film also has one of the best casts in a movie, Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba and Kevin Costner, and those three are just the tip of the iceberg. Molly’s Game is a spectacularly acted, directed and written film that whether you’re a poker fan or not will leave you wishing for more.
