Silicon Valley Comic Con returns to San Jose which for me personally rings in the official return of spring. Last years event was a blast, if you want to get a reminder of some of the things I experienced you can head here: Silicon Valley 2017

This year will be a bit different, one we have a better idea of what to expect, what worked, what worked in theory and a general layout based on last year. I’m going to be interested in checking out the art galleries, along with Funko Pops and statues, and collectibles. For me, this event has something I haven’t experienced yet, I don’t have any stars or panels of shows that I religiously follow at this event. This does create a unique chance to just wander around, while perhaps wander into a panel and observe it with aneutral mindset, who knows I might stumble on a new favorite without knowing it. So who is going to be there you ask? Let’s go over the stars now!

Stan Lee: The master of Marvel, and cameos is going to be with us in San Jose, he experienced a recent health scare, but he is committed to the event. According to the schedule Stan Lee has a 5 photo ops during the 3 day weekend, along with a Saturday spotlight at 1:30 pm in room 220BC.

David Tennant: I know some people on our staff are loving the fact that 10th Dr. on Dr. Who, and Broadchurch on Netflix’s Marvel show Jessica Jones. David has 2 single photo ops and 2 group photo ops across Saturday and Sunday. He also has a spotlight Sunday at 12:30 pm in room 220BC.

Mads Mikkelsen: Best known for playing Dr. Hannibal Lecter in the TV Series Hannibal. He has 3 photo ops over the 3 days, with a Sunday spotlight at 4 pm in room 220BC.

Chris Kattan: This one is sort of random if I can be honest, but glad to have some variety, Chris best known for Saturday Night Live fame. Kattan has himself 3 photo ops with a Sunday spotlight at 2 pm in room 212ABCD.

Christina Ricci: She has played in a slew of movies, notably The Addams Family. She has two photo ops over the weekend and a Saturday spotlight at 12:30 in room 220BC.

I am also a bit disappointed how little Krysten has at the show. Photo Credit: Netflix and Marvel
