Everyone’s buzzing about Syfy’s new show “Krypton”. Since the release of the trailer, nerds from around the world patience is being tested. The show’s first episode will air on Syfy March 21,2018. Cast members include Georgina Campbell, Ian McElhinney, Rasmus Hardiker, and Elliot Cowan. We all know Krypton as the home of the beloved hero Superman. So far the trailer hasn’t revealed much about the show which just makes the nerd community hungry and curious at the same time. Multiple sources of media have revealed that the grandfather of Superman will be one of the main characters throughout the show. The show will be far much more than just a journey back to the history before Superman was born, it will be a show that will keep viewers talking. From the trailer, I can say that the show can be unpredictable and that’s what the fans need. When I first started getting into comics I thought the story Superman was a little off. In my head, Superman was a heroic figure and the creator picked an element that was secretly on the periodic table and said: “He’s gonna be allergic to this”. Not a common allergy like peanut butter or dairy products, an element. That was of course before I knew that it was fictional and the whole story of Superman. I believe the show will reveal a lot of untold stories prior to the existence of Superman and why he became the man of steel. With the many shows that are based on DC heroes, this one has the potential to become a fan favorite as well.
