Awards season is in full force, and this time we have the Critics’ Choice Awards. The dress code wasn’t about making a statement, so there were more of a variety of looks to behold.
Here are my favorites…
Julie Bowen is wearing a Carolina Herrera gown and I think it’s visually really interesting. I love how it’s a simple white dress, but then it has these 3-dimensional flowers on them. I also think her yellow earrings compliment the yellow in the flowers perfectly.
Laurie Metcalf is wearing a Cristina Ottaviano gown and I think she looks AMAZING in it. I love the color on her and the cut fits perfectly on her. She exudes old Hollywood glamour.
Gal Gadot is wearing a Prada gown and she wears it effortlessly. She was one of the only actresses, who wore something glittery on the carpet and it really made her stand out. I love the beaded detailing around the waist and that she went minimal with her accessories.
Allison Williams is wearing a Dolce & Gabbana gown and I love the etherealness of the entire dress. The detailing is impeccable and I love how the brown in the dress accentuates her brown hair. And speaking of her hair, the styling with the headband makes the look youthful.
Dacre Montgomery is wearing a Brunello Cucinelli tuxedo and he just exudes cool. He made the outfit look more casual with his undone shirt, an unbuttoned jacket and no socks with his shoes. It was also a bold choice to wear a cream colored jacket instead of the usual white.
David Harbour is wearing a maroon tuxedo and I applaud him for wearing a bold color to the ceremony. He really pulls it off and I like that the tux has a mixture of maroon and black elements.
Jay Pharoah is wearing a shiny gold tuxedo jacket with black pants. Again, lets applaud a fun color on the carpet. I think this looks really nice on him and to me, it doesn’t look like too much on him. He also made a bold choice by wearing loafers instead of regular dress shoes.
Sterling K. Brown is wearing an Isaia suit and he look very put together. I love the color combination of the blues with the pop of red and I love that he wore a tie with a pattern. The suit is perfectly tailored on him and he looks super stylish.
