SDCC – Saturday preview

So what’s coming up on the third day of SDCC?

The fairytale cast of Once Upon a Time will be talking about what’s in store for the current season, plus introducing some new faces. Look forward to season previews and cast Q&As for Riverdale and Lucifer too.

There will be tons of super hero action today with panels for Supergirl, Gotham, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash and Arrow.

There will be a Marvel Animations presentation, which will focus on Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Avengers: Secret Wars and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, plus the big screen heroes will also be represented, with a Warner Bros. presentation to talk about Justice League.

The Warner Bros. presentation will also feature some Hollywood royalty, as Steven Spielberg makes an appearance to discuss his upcoming movie, Ready Player One, and there’ll be news about Blade Runner 2049. Representing badass Hollywood ladies will be Charlize Theron, who is doing a no-holds barred chat with Entertainment Weekly.

Fans of animated comedy will get a triple hit today. Incredibly about to start its 29th season, The Simpsons will be the subject of a panel featuring creator Matt Groening. There will also be a Family Guy panel with Seth MacFarlane, and a discussion panel with the cast of American Dad!, to preview the new seasons.

Looking ahead to new shows, fans will get their first glimpses of Star Trek: Discovery, Salvation and Ghost Wars.

Two of the biggest new shows in 2016 were Westworld and Stranger Things, and stars from both will be doing Q&A sessions, with exclusive sneak peeks at the upcoming second seasons.

B-movie fans will not want to miss the Mystery Science Theater 3000 panel, as the creators and presenters talk about bringing the cult show back.
